Dear Valued Clients and Business Partners
In response to the evolvement of the global COVID-19 pandemic in Mauritius, the Prime Minister announced on the 1st of May 2020, that the national lockdown, that was intended to end on the 4th of May 2020, is extended until the 1st of June 2020. There will be a partial “de-confinement” as from the 15th of May 2020 where essential services will be authorised to operate under predefined conditions. Mauritius has managed to contain the number of COVID-19 cases on the island; however, the government has extended the lockdown to minimize the risk of any subsequent waves of infection.
The Government of Mauritius continues to encourage the private sector to make use of their Work-From-Home Facilities until the end of the lockdown period. As mentioned in our previous communiqué our staff are fully equipped with the necessary facilities and remain reachable primarily by email. This extension will continue to have a minimal impact on our clients as the Lemuel Team remains committed to safeguarding your interests. We will do the best that we can during this difficult time to provide you with high quality services.
We would like to reiterate to our clients that use of digital channels is the most efficient form of communication during this time and we encourage you to remain in touch with your portfolio manager via email (please refer to communiqué 2). Please remain vigilant when using digital channels for payment instructions and cooperate with our callback procedure (please refer to communiqué 3 for additional details).
We invite you to stay informed of the latest developments and actions undertaken with regards to COVID-19 through regular communication on our website and previous communiqués sent.
Should you require more information, please contact us on info@lemuel-group.com and we will readily assist you.
Best wishes to you and your families, take care!
The Management & Lemuel Team
