Mauritius is now off the UK’s List of High-Risk Third Countries
Following the de-listing of Mauritius by the FATF, the United Kingdom (UK) has, through amendments made to the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017, removed Mauritius as a high-risk country for the purposes of enhanced customer due diligence requirements.
The de-listing of Mauritius from the UK List of High Risk Third Countries is another important step in reinforcing the reputation of Mauritius as a robust and credible jurisdiction.
